The Moroccan government, wishing to curb the wild movements of capital, has established rules regarding foreign investment in the territory.

The foreign exchange bureau shall be notified by the Notary of the transaction to qualify in the event of resale, repatriation of funds.

 

The money received from abroad must pass through an account in convertible dirhams that you will achieve your investment operation in Morocco and will guarantee the transfer of proceeds from this investment (eg rental income) and the repatriation of and the added value of an eventual resale.

 

In order to provide funds quickly to help you book the property of your choice, we recommend that you open your account in convertible dirhams when you arrive in Morocco (your passport will be requested and Q'una initial contribution in euros in some banks) so you can fund your account from abroad by SWIFT and by simple fax or mail to your bank in Morocco, to transfer the amount of deposit in the escrow account of the notary (make sure to contact your bank !!!).
